Artist Statement

Art is a tool to express and communicate with the existing world around us. It is a therapeutic process where I can understand myself and my values. It is both internal and external work. Through art, I witness patterns within societal interactions. For example, how subcultures emerge, flourish and relate to other mainstream cultures. I am interested in how people view themselves, self-examine, and interact with one another. My work is about relationships, connections, and human psychology. I am interested in the human condition in contemporary life but also how it has evolved through time. Some of my pieces reference psychological theories and our brain structure.
